The Place for My Feet

   When I first went to the Old City of Jerusalem in February 1992, a young guide approached me and offered to show me around the city. Before we started the tour, he took out his business card, and said, as he handed it to me, "America is in the middle of Jerusalem."
   I must of had a blank look on my face as I said, "What?"
   "Yes", he said as he held the card in front of me with his thumb under his address. "See the three letters in the middle of Jerusalem. U-S-A is right there in the middle of Jerusalem, see, J-e-r-U-S-A-l-e-m."

"I had never noticed," I said with amazement. "Who do you suppose put it there, the one who created everything? and what does this mean to US?" I said half meaning a pun.
   This too seams strange to me. I have found that, Americans I talked to about this haven't noticed it either, unless someone has pointed it out to them.
   I vaguely remember the rest of the tour, but since then, I have often recalled this moment and wondered, "how significant is America's role to be in the development of the Land of Israel and the related Subareas (LOIS)?" Partly as a result of this meditation I have titled our (America's) roll in this Land Development Project as "A PRESENT."
   I have defined A PRESENT as: The Prophet Ezekiel gave the description of A Kingdom District (AKD) to us 2500 years ago (Ezekiel 40-48).  AKD is described by Ezekiel as: 

"The entire portion will be a square, 25,000 cubits (almost 10 mi.) on each side. As A SPECIAL GIFT, you will set aside the SACRED PORTION along with the PROPERTY OF THE CITY.” 

   AKD then is A PRESENT given in love; a gift of land, plans, materials, and workmanship. We refer to AKD multi-project program as "A PRESENT" because it is 'A PRESENT' that the design participants in this Land Development Program will give to all people everywhere; and best of all, we will give 'A PRESENT' to OUR CLIENT CREATOR, YHWH.

   YHWH is the ancient Sacred Hebrew Bible NAME for God (Elohim).

   'THE NAME' is translated into English with the all-caps word 'LORD' in King James English translation of The Bible. For example, Psalms 1:2 KJV says; 

But his (the people seeking God's counsel) delight is in the law of the LORD (YHWH); and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 

   YHWH is an interesting word to study. The letters Y-H-W-H are all breath sounds. So, in a real sense whenever we breath 'in' and breath 'out' we say the name of God (Elohim). Try it, breath in, 'YH'; breath out, 'WH'.

And the LORD (YH-WH) God (EL-O-HIYM = ALL-OF-HIM) formed man (ADAM) of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7.  

    Think about that! Every time we breath in and out we say THE NAME YH-WH; THE NAME of THE ONE who BREATHED the BREATH OF LIFE into US. 

   The one who gave us breath has ask us to build something for Him; and this is A PRESENT: it is A PRESENT to future generations, and A PRESENT to YH-WH.

   SURPRISED? 

   A PRESENT IS SOMETHING OUR CREATOR, YH-WH, DESIRES? But why?

Moreover (YH-WH says) I will make a Covenant Of Peace (COP) with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary (Hebrew = Mikdashie, Palace, Holy Place, a place set apart by law or code) in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle (dwelling place, housing, Habitat) also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God (Elohim), and they shall be my people (Hebrew = AM, AMerican). And the heathen (nations, Hebrew = goyem) shall know that I the LORD (YH-WH) do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore." (Ezekiel 37:26-28)

   A careful read of the above quote clearly shows the benefits coming from the establishment of YH-WH's Sanctuary in the Land Of Israel: contractual peace, a secure and clearly defined place to live, health and healthy reproduction, informed sensible leadership, providential knowledge, and anointed sanctity, are some of the benifits included in the above promise.

And he (YH-WH) said unto me (Ezekiel), "Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel (Ones who asked, IS GOD REAL? and discover, GOD IS REAL!) for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places. (Ezekiel 43:7)

Ezekiel 40-48 briefly describes the facility YH-WH  has in mind for His Footstool, His Throne, His Sanctuary, the place where He will dwell with his people (AM) for ever. It is this facility and its CLIENT that we are most interested in, and it is THE PLANS for this facility that we call, A PRESENT.

Habakkuk 2:2&4  And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain ....the just shall live by his faith.

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Mark 4:40  And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

Hebrews 11:1-3  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  (2)  For by it the elders obtained a good report.  (3)  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
