Note: The following is just a brief analogy to help the reader visualize the complexity of understanding, or trying to understand prophecy. If you are a novice in THE WORD, otherwise known as the Bible, and you want more teaching you could find some help here: http://www.bibleanswerstand.org/prophetic_1.htm
Appreciating Prophetic Documents
Let's set the stage for a play.
Place yourself in the audience.
The curtain raises.
The players present themselves.
From your prospective that is all there is; unless of course you have been attentive and active in setting up a play. Then you know there are others standing in the wings, scenes waiting to be lowered, props waiting to be set, etc. This is the way we need to view Biblical history and prophecy and the various students of the Bible and their understanding of these Biblical things. Some are observers, some actors and others are directors working behind the wings. In the Bible there are things hidden from view, things the audience doesn't see, but the more you examine THE WORD, the more you learn, the more you get involved in the play, the more you understand what is behind the screens and in the wings. A life long student of the Bible is like a stagehand, they see old obscure dusty things in the basement; and they know what to setup next on the stage for the next act. As a director might do, we are in this blog announcing: THE LAST DAYS is The Next Act.

Many prophetic proclamations are incomplete in and of themselves; they are like examining one side of a coin. Seeing the view from the audience as if "that is all there is" to the play is what the majority see. Behind the scene or the other side of the coin may not be described in THE WORD, but some things are left up to presumption, hidden from view for effect, for a time, or there is no need or desire for the producer to mention all elements because the back stage/side is understood by those who know. So, if a description of one side of the coin is supplied, assume the other is implied or just briefly shown. For example evil may be discussed, but be assured good it there too. Death may be the topic, but life exist along side. Woes and cursing may be the subject but count on blessings hiding somewhere nearby. (Re: Deuteronomy 11: 26 & 30:15-20)
